This pack gives our three-ingredient lavash a deliberately dry, firm finish. For khash, tear the dried sheets into the bowl before adding the hot broth, then let them soften as they absorb it. The sheets can also be served crisp beside soups and stews or lightly moistened when a softer texture is wanted. Made from wheat flour, water and salt, it is a practical pantry form of the same Armenian bread we bake fresh.

Serving suggestions

Tear dried sheets into khash or another hot broth and allow them to soften before eating. Serve crisp pieces beside soups and stews, or mist a whole sheet lightly with water, cover briefly and warm gently for a softer texture.

Storage

Keep sealed in a cool, dry place and protect from moisture. Reseal carefully after opening. Once a sheet has been softened with water, use it the same day.
