Khash is a slow simmered broth shared at dawn in the depths of winter is unthinkable without lavash. This pack is baked a touch sturdier so the sheets hold up when torn and dropped into the steaming bowl, soaking up the broth without falling apart. Dried lavash is traditionally crumbled in first, then fresh sheets are used to scoop. It is bread as ritual, not just food.

Serving suggestions
Crumble dried sheets into the base of the bowl, ladle over hot khash, and use fresh lavash to scoop. Also wonderful with garlic, radish and a glass of something strong.
Storage
Best within 3 days. Store sealed at room temperature. For khash, a day of air drying actually improves the texture for soaking.
