Returns & Refunds
Because lavash is a fresh, perishable food baked to order, returns work a little differently than they would for other goods. This is a plain English summary of how we handle returns and refunds. It is not legal advice, and it does not limit your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
Your consumer rights
Our bread comes with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. If what you receive is faulty, unsafe, or significantly different from what was described, you are entitled to a remedy, a replacement or a refund.
Change of mind
As lavash is freshly baked food, we are not able to accept returns or offer refunds for a change of mind once an order has been baked, collected or delivered. Please check your order before the bake-day cutoff, while changes are still possible.
If something is not right
If there is a problem with your order, let us know and we will make it right:
Contact us within 48 hours of collecting or receiving your order. Tell us your order number and what went wrong (a photo really helps). We will arrange a replacement on the next bake day or a refund, whichever suits you best.
Cancellations
You can change or cancel an order any time before the batch cutoff. After the cutoff we have usually begun planning the bake, so changes may not be possible. See our Terms & Conditions for the full detail.
How refunds are made
Approved refunds are returned to your original payment method. Card refunds are processed securely through Stripe and usually appear within a few business days. Refunds for cash orders are arranged directly with you.
